Leadership - Take the reins on large plumbing and piping projects and lead a design team from start to finish.

Client Facing - We need someone who is just as comfortable with clients in project meetings as they are in design production.
Provide direction to Jr. Designers and CAD/BIM operators while installing and supervising the design foundation for the project.
What we are looking for:
5+ years of large, complex commercial plumbing/piping (hydronic) design engineering experience – multi-million dollar projects. Hospital medical gas experience strongly preferred but not required.
Deep Technical knowledge of your craft including engineering calculations, equipment selection and code knowledge for complex plumbing systems.
Conceptual Design – able to visualize and plan the best design approach, with the experience and judgment to anticipate challenges.
Communication skills – able to discuss design concepts with clients and collaborate fluidly with design team members.
Field knowledge – real world understanding (design-build) of how plumbing systems fit in space amidst structural components and the ability to maximize design efficiency for installation.
Project Management skills – effective organizer and priority setter.
Leadership – driven to achieve excellence and the skills to help others get there.
Integrated CAD/BIM Technology – Complete integration from design through fabrication. You will not do your own CAD work but need to be proficient with CAD/BIM Technology.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred – or equivalent work experience
