Compensation: $110K - $140K+ Full Benefits

About this opportunity:

We’re looking for an experienced multi-trade estimator who is ready to take their career to the next level with a growing GC expanding nationally! This is a highly visible Sr. level role where you can reach beyond traditional estimating into the full range of preconstruction activities to lead the development of major projects.

  • Close to the Customer - Be the face of the company in front of the client throughout the preconstruction phase to identify the best conceptual approach and coordinate the resources needed to deliver maximum client value.

  • Collaborative Construction - Break free from the adversarial plan/spec world into negotiated, design-build relationship based construction.  Beginning with the end in mind changes everything!

  • Self-Performed Value - Strong in-house trades capabilities including Concrete, Carpentry, Metal Studs, and Interiors to differentiate your project offering.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of multi-trade construction estimating experience

  • Strong Construction Building Knowledge - Overall mastery of above ground field construction methods for commercial buildings and ability to translate to into real world pricing scenarios.

  • Direct Labor and Material Pricing - Able to handle accurate detailed estimates directly for self-performed trades (concrete, carpentry, drywall)

  • Construction Technology - strong computer skills, construction/estimating software, power Excel user.

  • Full scope assembly for large and small projects - experience pulling all of the pieces together for accurate at-risk pricing of multi-million dollar Commercial GC projects as well as fast turning special projects with custom scopes and conditions.

  • Conceptual estimating and negotiated project experience is a plus, but competitive hard bid experience is also valued.

  • Bachelor’s Degree - construction or engineering related discipline preferred but not required.  Field experience and trades training is highly valued in lieu of.
